Forever Young
Adverstising Campaign
As Australia’s ageing population continues to grow, the strain on healthcare and support services intensifies. When seniors lose their licences for medical reasons, they often lose more than just mobility — they lose independence, confidence, and connection. The lack of affordable, accessible transport options leaves many isolated, accelerating both mental and physical decline.

One senior with Parkinson’s, for instance, was forced to give up his regular boxercise sessions after losing his licence. Despite having access to taxi vouchers, the cost and hassle of arranging transport without a phone made it unmanageable. His health deteriorated, and the burden on his family increased — a clear example of how losing transport access can erode independence and well-being.
Forever Young aims to ensure that losing a driver’s licence doesn’t mean losing an active, connected life. The concept proposes automatic, taxpayer-funded support for seniors transitioning away from driving, backed by partnerships with local businesses and community organisations. In a wealthy nation like Australia, where cognitive disease is prevalent, providing this safety net isn’t just compassionate — it’s essential for protecting both seniors’ dignity and their families’ peace of mind.
